	Your Detroit Travel Guide Channel 7 News Detroit also known as Channel 7 Action News, is the third Detroit news station in which you can find out the local news in Detroit. They are also the local ABC affiliate. Channel 7 has top notch reporting and you can find out just about everything you need to know that's going on in the city by tuning in here. Morning Newscasts The morning newscast start at 5 in the morning and go until 7 AM. The main reason their newscast ends earlier than the other stations is because Good Morning America comes on ABC at 7 AM. Noon Newscasts The noonday newscast offers you the main news stories from the first half of the day. Evening Newscasts The evening newscasts are a bit different from the other stations . They start at 5, and go until 6:30. At 6:30, ABC World News breaks in for a half an hour. Channel 7 Action News then resumes at 7 PM, and goes for another half hour. Night Newscasts Channel 7 is the only station other than Channel 4 that boradcasts the nightly news at 11, which runs for a half hour.
