This Detroit Event Calendar can help you find some greaat things going on in the city
A Detroit Event Calendar can be very helpful in finding things to do outside of attractions that you can see anytime such as musuems, architecture, or restaurants. Some events come only during a certain time of the year and for only a certain amount of time such as the GM River Days, or Comerica CityFest. Also a lot of these events will be held at Hart Plaza so check out my page on that as well.
I will update this the Detroit Event Calendar on this page weekly with musical concerts, downtown events, and other fun things to do which may only go on for a weekend or so.
You will always want to check here every week to see what events you may be able to catch in between your other activities. Events like these are always good because even though Detroit has many attractions that you can go to, you might have been to a lot and you just want something different to satisfy your boredom.

16th Annual Native American Festival and Mini Pow Wow - November 8 - 9, 2008; Southfield Pavilion located at 26000 Evergreen Road (1/2 mile south of 11 Mile Road). Native Americans representing the People of the Three Fires will gather to celebrate the customs and culture of the indigenous Michigan Indians – Ottawa, Ojibwe and Potawatomi.
International Celebration of Life On November 15; 55th anniversary celebration including art, culinary delights and performing arts from the continents they serve; Max M. Fisher Music Center (located in Orchestra Hall); Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $ 125.00 and can be purchased at 313-866-5333 or online.
