Art galleries and all kinds of exhibits are all aroundMany people who travel into the city are truly surprised when they come because they were not aware that the city had this many museums on such a high calibur. The toughest thing to do will be finding which Detroit museums to go to. If you're in town for just a short stay, say two or three days, you may be only able to get to one or two especially since there will probably be more things you will want to see in the city. I would recommend starting in the downtown area and moving outwards as the cultural district/midtown has many museums all clustered in one area which makes it very easy to go to two or more in a day. During Christmas time, the culture district comes alive with many Christmas activities, festivals, shows, and events. I particularly like the Noel Night events every year.
