The Detroit Music HallPerformances and Live Shows in Downtown DetroitThe Detroit Music Hall is another great venue for musical events, entertainment, and performances in the city. Find all the info you need about the Music Hall in downtown. Music Hall is another venue like the Fox Theatre and the Opera House, that features many plays, musicals, and even movies at times. It's not as elegant as the Fox (but don't miss the Pewaibic tile decorations), or as big as the Opera House, but it is a great place to watch to notch shows that have been across the country. It's located in the downtown area close to many attractions like the Detroit Athletic Club and Campus Martius. The Music Hall offers a range of diverse performances and movies that are perfect for everyone. Throughout the month, you should always be able to find something that interests you. Personally since I was a child, it has been a favorite place for me to go. In fact, my schools would frequently take field trips to see events and plays such as Charlotte's Web. Nowadays the theatre is still going strong, but also seeking support for restoration and continued preservation of the theatre. Some things that are going on lately at the Detroit Music Hall include the ever popular Jazz Cafe (every week) and of course events at the main stage.
