A Detroit Restaurant Guide for your convenience

You can always go look at a traditional Detroit restaurant guide, but to me it is just that, a guide. It tells you nothing about the place except the address and phone number.

A lot of people want to know more than what kind of food a place has. They may want a brief description about the place so they can get a sense of what the place may be like before they go. Some restaurants not only serve food, but their location makes them popular as well. Being close to a popular entertainment and sports area can help your overall experience because you can make a whole date or outing by going to a game, museums, entertainment, etc., and finishing it off with some great food.

I'm here to just share my experiences at some of my favorite and best restaurants in Detroit. So how exactly do I decide which restaurants make it into my Detroit restaurant guide? Well first off, let me say that I'm not acting as a food critic giving you all the best Detroit restaurant reviews, I'm just sharing some of the best places I've been to eat at in the city.

These places are tops in my book because of the great food of course, but also the service, location, and atmosphere. Food critics get paid to be negative and review every little detail about the restaurant.

I'm just sharing my favorite restaurants in the Detroit area and recommending them to you :)

I like to include restaurants that I like to call "hidden treasures" in my guide. These places do not get as much exposure as the "big boys" but the food is great and many people know about them.
