Detroit TheatreI am not a huge fan of theatre but I do go from time to time because there are shows that I do like to check out. Detroit theatre is something you can find all throughout the city. Many big plays and performances are starting to come to the city each year. There are many places for you to check out if you are looking for theatre in Detroit. It's perfect for an evening night out on the town with dinner afterwards. Here are the major theatrical venues in the city: The Fox Theatre is Detroit's premiere theatre venue. Many big hit plays and musicals come to town and play here. You can even catch concerts of famous artists here. Other than the performances, you will be an awe of the beautiful interior of the building The Fisher Theatre located a bit north of downtown is another popular Detroit attractions. It's just as popular as the Fox Theatre and many big plays and musicals come here to perform as well The Gem Theatre may not be as big as the other theatres in the city, but it is one of my favorites as it has it's own character and feel to it. The Detroit Opera House is great for more theatrical performances. Formerly the State Theatre, the Fillmore plays host to a number of musical performers from around the country.
