Fairlane Mall

Another place to shop in Metro Detroit

Besides going there for shopping, I also like going there to see movies as they have an full size AMC theatre. Let's say you and your spouse or significant other have kids and you want to each enjoy the movie in peace and quiet. Because of the many stores in the mall you could each take turns by going to see the movie while the other goes through the mall for shopping or just to go look around. It's a perfect setup.

The mall also has a pretty big food court along with smaller food establishments scattered throughout the rest of the mall.

One thing you should take note of is that if you have teenagers, they cannot be in the mall by themselves past 5 P.M. (they must be accompanied by someone 21 years and older...and they do check for I.D.) This is in order to cut down on some trouble making that was going on in the past and it has worked and has made the mall more enjoyable in the later hours. All in all you should have an enjoyable time visiting Fairlane Town Center with its many stores. I go to it regularly and have been for years. I recommend this as one of the best places to shop in the area.
