The Fisher Theatre Detroit...another great theatrical venue in DetroitThe Fisher Theatre Detroit is another popular theatre venue in Detroit's New Center and it is located in Detroit's New Center area. Along with the Fox Theatre, the Fisher Theatre is a top venue for performances in the city. The theatre is located inside the Fisher Building another great building in the city of Detroit. The Fisher Theatre's location is about five to ten minutes from the main downtown area and is located in what is called the New Center Area. Basically taking a straight shot down Woodward Avenue from downtown, and making a left on W. Grand Blvd. will get you there. It's just the opposite if you're coming from the north. Many live broadway shows come to play here just as they do at the Fox Theatre. Also much like the Fox, the Fisher Theatre is a beautiful building. Be sure to check what plays are in town here here.
