Greektown Casino Detroit is a popular gaming destination for visitors and Detroiters alike. It is one of three casinos in Detroit and one of the most popular in the city. It is also one of the most noticeable casinos in Detroit because of its central location in Downtown Detroit, and its 30 story blue glass tower hotel.

The hotel was a recent addition, and has brought many more visitors to the casino as a result. As stated above, many people like coming to the Greektown casino because of its location. You can play some games at the casino, and when you're done (hopefully you haven't lost all your money), you can check out some of the great restaurants and shops in the Greektown Detroit district.

Do yourself a favor and do not walk across the crosswalk back to you car once you're done in the casino. Talk a walk in the Greektown District as well. The casino itself has over 100,000 feet of total gaming space along with a hotel and spa, not to mention a 1,000 seat theatre for performances and shows.

Out of all the casinos in the Detroit area, Greektown has the cheapest price for rooms starting at $99. The hotel and service have gotten mixed reviews, just remember you get what you pay for :) The casino aslo has a buffet which usually runs for about 9.99. If I had to give my honest opinion, out of the three casinos in Detroit, this would probably be the best for location, but in terms of service, the other do a better job. Still Greektown Casino could be a great place to stay, if you're on a budget and still want to have some fun at the casino. Check out their website here.
