The Fillmore Detroit is a mixed use popular entertianment favorite for many in Detroit. Concerts and other performances are held nearly every weekend. Also find hotels aorund the theatre.

It plays host to a number of entertainment shows during the weekends in downtown Detroit. It was formerly called the State Theatre for those of you familiar with the area. It also sits next to the popular Fox Theatre which means some Saturday nights are packed along Woodward Ave. Unlike its neighbor though, you will rarely find any big name broadway shows playing at the Fillmore. You will be more likely to find musical performances by well known pop stars. I often hear great things about the Fillmore and it's a great place to house many of these performances. You can find parking in the many parking garages downtown or if spaces are available, you can find places very close to the Fillmore to park.
